IV Cycle of Regional Events Digital Empowerment of Schools

On February 27, 2025, Escola Secundária Augusto Gomes in Matosinhos hosted the Regional North 4 Event, promoted by the Directorate-General for Education (DGE) in partnership with the ICT Competence Centers and School Training Centers Associations (CFAE). The meeting, aimed at school leadership and Digital Development Teams (EDDs), sought to strengthen digital transition, promote good practices, and foster collaborative networks.

The Maia School Group participated by presenting the interdisciplinary projects  "Genius – Interdisciplinary CLIL Project using Micro:Bit," and "RaZi," which respectively integrate Micro:Bit, and Arduino in teaching, stimulating computational thinking, collaborative work, and students' critical thinking. These projects, initially developed within the Digital for Active Education project, were replicated in interdisciplinary work in the 7th and 8th grades.
