Objectives

The Dig4AEdu project aims to implement digital competencies by means of active learning and STEAM education. It is addressed to STEAM area teachers, and students from 12 to 17 years old, for which scientific areas are taught independently.
By implementing the project we want to:
- Promote excellence in STEM areas
- Drive teachers towards active teaching practices
- Mobilize and develop essential skills
- Enhance transdisciplinary and multisensory perspectives
- Create extended networks

Implementation

There will be 13 activities: 2 training courses for teachers on active education and digital technologies, 5 mobility missions for students, and 6 webinars each one preceding a mobility mission to let students participate in the organization and generate notworks of cooperation, cross-border interchange and transfer of knowledge.
There will be 4 Multiplier Events, one by each partner, and 3 Transnational Project Meetings: the Kick-off; the mid-term and the final for preparing the report.

Results

2 Intellectual Outputs will design methods and resources for schools in science education, both digital and with low-cost materials. A third Intellectual Output will be a pedagogical tool addressed to teachers and students, to apply the new methods and resources built in the project outputs and examples of STEAM projects that were done. Other outcomes will be presented in national and international conferences and papers published is journals with peer review.
