Multiplier Events

The Dig4AEdu project reached a major milestone in 2025 with a series of five National Conferences (Multiplier Events) held across Portugal, Latvia, Türkiye, Greece, and Romania. These events served as a dynamic bridge between the project's research and the local educational communities, focusing on the theme of "STEAM Study Based on Sustainability and Digitalization."
A defining feature of these events was the protagonism of the students. Far from being mere spectators, students took center stage to present the innovative projects they developed during international mobilities, covering areas such as smart traffic management, energy-saving systems, and ecological models. They demonstrated remarkable maturity and creativity, effectively bridging the gap between complex technology and practical application.
Furthermore, the events were characterized by a "peer-to-peer" learning model. In several workshops, students acted as facilitators, guiding not only their peers but also teachers and parents through hands-on activities with micro:bit and Arduino. This approach highlighted the power of inquiry-based learning and showed how young people can lead the way in digital transformation.
For the educators and stakeholders in attendance—including university professors and school advisors—the conferences provided a platform to discuss the importance of digital competence and student autonomy. Through technical workshops and project showcases, the Dig4AEdu Multiplier Events successfully shared effective teaching methods and fostered a collaborative European network dedicated to a more sustainable and technologically advanced future in education.
