The Students Learning Mobility event, titled “Living off the Earth,” took place from 28 April to 2 May 2025 at 4th GEL Rodou in Rhodes, Greece, as part of Work Package 3. This event brought together students from partner schools for a week of interdisciplinary STEAM workshops focused on environmental sustainability, practical problem solving, and cultural heritage. Throughout the week, student teams participated in workshops introducing sustainability-related topics, combining theory with hands-on activities. They used digital tools such as Arduino and Tinkercad to design, simulate, and implement projects that fostered creativity, technical skills, and collaborative problem-solving. Each team presented their work and took part in peer evaluations to enhance reflection and teamwork. Students also visited key local sites to connect learning with real-world contexts. These included the Rhodes Aquarium Hydrobiological Station, the Medieval City of Rhodes with guided tours of the Palace of the Grand Master and Archaeological Museum, and the Acropolis of Lindos. At the University of the Aegean, they explored laboratories in psychology, education research, natural sciences, and mathematics. An important visit was to the Gadouras Dam aqueduct and Rhodes Water Treatment Plant, offering insights into sustainable water management. Cultural experiences included a visit to the Throne of Helios 9D Cinema and social dinners fostering intercultural exchange. The week ended with student evaluations, certification, and a closing ceremony. This mobility empowered students to develop creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative skills while promoting environmental awareness and STEAM education, supporting the project’s goals of innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation
