The Student Learning Mobility event, titled “Alarms and Accident Prevention,” took place from 20 to 24 October 2025 at Colegiul Tehnic Edmond Nicolau (CTEN) Focșani, Romania, as part of Work Package 3 (WP3) of the ERASMUS+ Dig4AEdu project (Ref. No. 2023-1-PT01-KA220-SCH-000166387). This event brought together students from partner schools for an intensive week of STEAM workshops, focused on solving complex problems through an interdisciplinary vision. Throughout the week, student teams immersed themselves in practical activities designed to develop essential skills such as creativity, critical reasoning, computational thinking, and artistic creation. The main focus was the design and implementation of STEAM projects using low-cost and green materials, addressing the crucial topic of accident prevention. Students were encouraged to actively integrate digital technology and apply their scientific and technological knowledge to create creative solutions for specific problems identified during the mobility missions. The event structure included the presentation of work by each team and participation in peer evaluations, essential for enhancing reflection and collaborative work. Local and cultural visits were fundamental to connect learning with real-world contexts and the rich Romanian history. A full-day excursion took students to Brașov County, where they visited the Schaeffler company laboratories, providing practical insights into engineering and technology. This was followed by a cultural immersion at the iconic Bran Castle and a walk through the Old Center of Brașov. Another important visit was to Vrancea County, known for its seismic activity, where students explored the Dr. Radu Cornelius Seismological Observatory in Vrâncioaia and Plostina, gaining perspectives on risk monitoring. Historical heritage was also honoured with visits to Putna Waterfall, Lepșa Monastery, and the imposing Mausoleums of Mărăști and Mărășești. The week concluded with a final workshop, student evaluations, the certification ceremony, and a closing ceremony. This mobility in Romania empowered students to develop essential digital and creative skills, promoting safety awareness and STEAM education, supporting the project's goals of innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation.
