The third Students Learning event, took place in İstanbul, Turkey, from February 24 to 28, 2025. Hosted by Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian High School, the program focused on "Reduction of expenses in homes and schools". Throughout the week, students actively participated in workshops, where they were introduced to new subjects and engaged in practical activities using Arduino technology. They also had the opportunity to present their work for peer evaluation. The mobility included several educational visits, such as to the Küçükçekmece Recycling and Solid Waste Center, İstanbul Technical University’s Faculty of Science, Rumeli Fortress, and various science, technology, and energy museums. Beyond academics, students enjoyed cultural tours and spent evenings with host families or at social dinners with teachers and students, promoting a rich intercultural exchange. This experience significantly enhanced students' problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, digital literacy, and creative expression through a STEAM-based approach. They developed and executed multidisciplinary projects focused on minimizing expenses, utilizing affordable and sustainable materials, Arduino devices, and other modern digital tools. This practical application of knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics supported the overarching goal of fostering enthusiasm and achievement in STEM disciplines through an interdisciplinary STEAM methodology.
